We are excited to announce that the 15^th Annual Cancer League of Colorado Golf Classic will be held at the Golf Club at Ravenna  on Monday, July 27, 2009.  The Golf Committee is thrilled to work with The Golf Club at Ravenna which is one of Colorado’s finest courses.  In fact, in 2008 Ravenna was voted one of the top 10 new private courses by Golf Digest. More recently, GOLFWEEK Magazine named Ravenna as one of the top 100 modern courses.

We would very much appreciate your support this year (enclosed is the list of available sponsorship opportunities).  A corporate sponsorship will give your organization the chance to be associated with this worthwhile event while providing valuable exposure in the community.  Sponsorships range from $500 to $25,000.

If a sponsorship is not in your budget, we are currently accepting reservations for foursomes. The cost per foursome is $2,000.00 and includes: green fees (including cart), a Callaway™ golf bag for each participant, lunch, drinks, and a dinner.  We expect to fill this event, so we encourage you to make your reservation now to ensure your place in our event.  To make your foursome reservation, or to sponsor this event, please contact John Snow at 303.534.4317.

In addition, each entry fee into the golf event includes admission to the Patron Party on July 21, 2009.  Additional tickets to the Patron Party can be purchased for $50.  The Patron Party will serve as a kick-off to the golf event and will include both a live and silent auction.  The event begins at 6pm-9pm at the Golf Club at Ravenna, 11118 Caretaker Road, Littleton, CO 80125.  Map The cost is $50 per person.  Silent and live auction. Unique to non-profits, Cancer League of Colorado has no paid staff and no offices, and is a 100% volunteer organization with no overhead or administrative costs.  All operating expenses are covered by membership dues and our volunteer staff.  Cancer League of Colorado now has over 400 volunteer members who share the commitment to fight cancer and support cancer research.

All money netted at the golf event will go toward cancer research and service grants in Colorado. Studies have shown that for every one dollar we raise to fund seed research grants, twenty dollars is generated in additional grant monies.  In fact, the Cancer League of Colorado’s Annual Golf Classic has raised more than $1,000,000 since its inception in 1995.  If you wish to learn more about us please visit www.cancerleague.org.
