In 1969, five
women whose lives were all affected by cancer, founded Cancer
League of Colorado. From their individual struggles grew a joint
commitment to raise money for cancer research and patient care within the
state of Colorado. This all-volunteer charity organization became Cancer
League of Colorado, Inc. Since 1985, we have awarded over
$5 million in research grants and service awards. Currently

Unique to non-profits, Cancer
League of Colorado has no paid staff and no offices. All operating expenses
are covered by membership dues and our volunteer staff. Cancer
League of Colorado now has over 400 volunteer members who share
the commitment to fight cancer and support cancer research.
Did you know that each dollar donated to Cancer League research
generates another $15.45 in funding?
