laboratory, clinical or community studies, we invite you to submit
an application to Cancer League for funding of a worthy research project.
Grants are of two types: research and
fellowship.
It should be noted that Cancer League emphasizes funding of
innovative studies, collaborative or inter-institutional research in
its formative stages, and pilot projects. Cancer League grants are
not intended to substitute for or supplement conventional granting
mechanisms. Thus, applications already submitted for funding
elsewhere, or those for support of on-going or established research
projects will not be considered without adequate justification.
Application for the current year must be received by Wednesday,
March 12, 2008 and must adhere strictly to Cancer League instructions.
Applications that do not conform to the requirements may be returned
without review. Recipients of grant funding from Cancer League will be
notified by June 30, 2008.
